Lions' Penei Sewell, Jameson Williams Questionable for Buccaneers Matchup

Detroit Lions' Penei Sewell and Jameson Williams are both questionable for Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Sewell, the Lions' starting left tackle, suffered an ankle injury in last week's loss to the Carolina Panthers. He did not practice on Wednesday or Thursday, but was limited in practice on Friday.

Williams, the Lions' rookie wide receiver, is dealing with a knee injury. He did not practice on Wednesday, but was limited in practice on Thursday and Friday.

The Lions are hopeful that both Sewell and Williams will be able to play on Sunday, but their status is uncertain. If Sewell is unable to play, Dan Skipper would likely start at left tackle. If Williams is unable to play, Josh Reynolds and Kalif Raymond would be the Lions' top two wide receivers.

The Lions are 1-6 this season and are coming off a bye week. They will face a tough test on Sunday against the Buccaneers, who are 4-3. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m. ET at Ford Field.
